Cancellation terms and conditions – Bert Muller

These terms and conditions set out the cancellation policy applicable to services provided by Bert Muller, including maintenance contracts, repair requests, equipment sales and contractual projects. 

1. Maintenance contract

The maintenance contract entered into with Bert Muller is automatically renewed on each anniversary date.

This contract may only be cancelled by registered letter, which must be received by Bert Muller at least three (3) months before the anniversary date of the contract.

Any request received after this deadline will not be taken into account, and the contract will be renewed for a new contractual period. 

2. Repair requests

Any scheduled repair work may be cancelled free of charge, provided that Bert Muller is notified of the cancellation at least twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled date and time of the repair.

Any cancellation made less than 24 hours before the repair may be subject to a charge corresponding to the costs incurred or any other amount provided for in the contract.

 3. Sale of equipment

Any order for equipment becomes final and non-cancellable once:

• The purchase agreement has been signed by the customer, and
• This agreement has been received by Bert Muller.

No cancellation requests will be accepted after these formalities have been completed, as the order is considered firm and irrevocable.

4. Project (project contract/comprehensive service)

Any project contracted between the customer and Bert Muller becomes non-cancellable upon signature by both parties.

Once the contract has been signed, the customer is committed to the entire project and the obligations contained therein. No cancellation requests will be accepted after the contract has been signed.

5. General provisions

The cancellation deadlines and procedures mentioned above take precedence over any verbal or informal communication.

Bert Muller reserves the right to claim compensation for costs already incurred when the cancellation conditions are not met or when specific contractual provisions so provide.
